What is the Tao?

As Lao Tzu said: the tao that is spoken of is not The true Tao. I will not sully reality with an attempt. I can tell you what it feels like.

It feels like all the barriers to whatever you are doing drop away. All the lights turned green. Someone pulled out of “your” parking spot right now saving it for you. A refund came the instant it was needed but it goes beyond this. Reality has changed because the way you think, preceive and understand has changed. We have become Divine surfers. Therefore, wherever the way carries us is fate. BUT, fate is a compilation of your past actions and what we have learned to carry us to our next learning opportunity which is in itself only an observation.

Ego steps in and wants to fix it. Yet here our true divine can take over. Grab ego, stuff a sock in its mouth and bind it. We release, we let go and trust the process. Don’t try to fix anything. Once we defeat fear after fear by starting with the small going to the large its a habit of spirit. Reality changes before your eyes because your perception of it has changed. It is quite literally like growing up. Some grow faster or release sooner and progress is made to critical mass and a new stage has occured.

What got us here? Meditation, discursive meditation and contemplation. No needing to step boldly (ego again). Just step and trust the Process. Let go, release step by little step until its so common it does not reach our ego anymore. We are not fearless because we just are and there is no fear. It is said we understand people’s behavior because we have the same feelings in us. But true relating is being free of negative emotions and relating in a non-duality state of peace and bliss. The true natural state of a “soul surfer.”
